# Klassio

> Klassio (klassio.se) is a free decision-support tool for EU importers, built for Swedish SMEs. It finds the right CN/HS commodity code for a product, and shows the third-country (MFN) duty rate, EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) scope and next steps — every answer cites its source (Tullverket/Tulltaxan, EUR-Lex, EBTI). It is not a binding ruling; binding tariff information (BKB/BTI) is issued by customs authorities.

Pages are served in Swedish by default. Codes are EU Combined Nomenclature (CN, Swedish: KN-nummer); the first six digits are the international HS code.

Two read-only tools work without an account, rate-limited: `klassio_lookup_cn_code` (description, duty, hierarchy for a CN code) and `klassio_classify_article` (CN code + the General Interpretative Rule applied + EUDR status for a product description). Bulk classification, saved classifications and similar-BTI search need a free account token (OAuth or `Authorization: Bearer klsm_…`).
