Klassio in your AI client

   Log in & generate a token

   Create a Klassio account (or sign in), go to Settings → Klassio MCP, and press "Generate new token". Store the token safely — it is shown only once.

   Add Klassio to your AI client

   Open the configuration file for your MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue) and add Klassio as an HTTP server with your token as Bearer authentication. Example below.

   Use Klassio directly in the conversation

   The client shows Klassio's tools in its tool list. Ask the AI to 'classify this product' and Klassio returns the CN code, EUDR status, and duty rate — with traceable sources.

Open ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS) or the equivalent on your platform, and add Klassio under mcpServers. Then restart Claude Desktop.

Replace klsm_... with your own token from Settings → Klassio MCP. The token is sent as Bearer authentication over HTTPS — it never leaves your machine in clear text.

Nine tools, all idempotent and traceable. Read-only tools are available anonymously (no token, rate-limited); write tools and your dictionary history require sign-in.

Type 'classify palm oil fat from Indonesia' in Claude Desktop. Klassio answers with CN 1511.10, EUDR applies (oil palm), MFN duty 7.7%, the cited GIR rule — without you copying PIM data or clicking between websites. Klassio MCP — free text → CN code in one turn

• Token scope. Each token is bound to you and your workspace. Tools cannot see or modify data outside it.
• Revoke anytime. Lost a token? Revoke from Settings → Klassio MCP. It stops working immediately.
• Quotas. Quota: 100 free-text classifications per month per account (CN-code lookups are unlimited). Remaining quota is exposed via klassio_get_judge_quota.
• GDPR. Queries are logged hashed (sha256). Cleartext is kept at most 30 days in the operational log; training use can be turned off per search or under Settings → Privacy.
